I did the same as @lesley54 and used the NHS podcasts on an MP3. I still use the Stamina, Speed and Stepping Stones podcasts now. There is a good website https://healthunlocked.com/ with lots of support for C25K and graduates.
I'm going to be starting again very soon. I've never gotten through the whole thing, but this year I am going to! I have the app on my phone. I'm just waiting for it to get a little warmer/less icy here in the northeast U.S.
I only recently got a smart phone though with the app. (haven't actually tried the app yet.) Before that I had a watch that had 10 timers in it and I set the timers for each week I was on. And if the app doesn't work out for me, I will revert back to that again. I don't listen to music on my phone, I use my mp3 player, so that might end up being better. I am going to check out the podcasts though that someone posted. Thanks!
I've made my own mp3s with some music editing software, with themed music for the walking and running sections "walk on by" "band on the run" "these boots are made for walking" etc etc. And suitable stretch music at the beginning of the mp3 "reach for the stars" "pulling mussels from a shell"
@Minumonline I have a running playlist too. You might want to add "Don't stop me now" by Queen!
Yup, got that one !

I like the way the app uses your music library, so I have a running playlist
Thanks Caroline. The only thing is that I don't currently have music on my phone. I have an mp3 player that I love and that has all my music on it. So, I have to figure out how I'm going to manage the whole thing!!
Right, I'm all set to start week 3 tomorrow! Full 3mins. Seems like a big jump on last weeks 90 seconds.
@Scubachick you'll be fine. It's amazing how you follow the programme and it all slots together. If it doesn't you can always redo some of it but I think often you have go just give it a go and believe in it. Good luck x
Just done Wk5 Day 1 - went well. I usually run before 9.00am, and its fairly quiet, but today ran at lunchtime, and it was a bit busy to be comfy. But beautiful sunshine
Wk5 day2 done. Fairly easy, although very cold today, so my chest is tight now.
Wondering if I'm ready to go straight to 20 mins next time.

Good for you! It's only going to be about 20F (-6C) today, so I am waiting a few more days to start my training. It's supposed to warm up to 40F (4C) later this week!!
I finally started C25K today. The conditions are still not great here for it. I had to drive to a trail that is further away because my normal trail was covered in ice and snow and it was a little chilly, but I did it anyway. And the running intervals were no problem!
