Have I missed something,@Sue.Q? What's your health issue which is stopping you from walking? Hope you are soon back on the track.

Sorry I didn't realise I hadn't posted in this tent, returned from my carb overloaded holiday in the lively Greek sun not only 4kgs heavier!!!  Water retention really bad can't get any footwear on or even my made to measure compression socks on ( hopefully tomorrow for them) resting up and on strong diuretics and slowly improving, did loads of walking while away and want and
need to return quickly.
All self inflicted of course and more lessosn learned the hard way unfortunately. :clover: :clover: :clover:

Stunning! I've never been to Spain. Where is it exactly? Your village, I mean. I know where Spain is! I am going to post some pictures of my place here too.

Ahh I just love walking. Ipod in ears and I could walk for miles. I have just started the 10,000 steps challenge which is hard to start with, but it gets easier every day. Found a lovely road to walk up and down, and when I go back home to the south coast I get to walk along the beach again.

We are having a bit of a crazy heatwave in England this weekend so I am making the most of that while it lasts. 25 degrees here in Sunderland yesterday and 22 today :D

I'm back on track @sallyo And @justdee :like:
Got out my old walkers which I thought I'd thrown away
for ever last year, and set of with my litre bottle of water in this glorious sunshine committed myself to a certain walk on lanes + tracks so mostly on level didn't cut it short just took my time enjoying the weather, wildlife, scenery and wild flowers, off for a long soak in the bath,
pleased and achieved 9km. :clover: :clover:

Well done @Sue.Q for getting back into the swing of things. I hope you're all enjoying the nice weather in the UK. It's a cool day here today and I've just got back from my hill walk, I'm going to have to change things up a bit tomorrow as it only took me 50 minutes today. I really need to be walking for longer, it's quite an easy walk for me now, going to push myself tomorrow.
@sallyo the village is beside the river Ebro in Catalonia, between Barcelona and Valencia. It's about 20 years behind the rest of the world, like going back in time. Kids still have respect, everyone still says hi to everyone they see in the street and absolutely nobody rushes anywhere. I love the place.

I think I'll do just that tomorrow @Sue.Q . go up it twice. I've been looking at the one next to it (not as high but a very long winding path). I will walk that one sometime this week. Oh I think I've got the walking bug, yeahhhhh!!!!!!

Just back from a lovely walk with the dogs. Sun still shining and warm. As we walked past the maternity field one of the cows had just given birth. A darling little black and white baby.
