Forgive yourself @justdee We all have those days chocolate is a total bugger once tasted we all want more thats the lurking carb monster, for me the dark chock doesn't bring on the same cravings, maybe worth a try, also one night last week same as you, the night after I had a sugar free mint right after my chock worked a treat leaving my mouth feeling fresh.
Good luck with tomorrow don't forget carorees is lurking around with an open weigh-in door!!!

Thanks@Sue.Q, I just feel really shitty about it as I think I did really well last week and now I'm letting myself down. It took me 3 and a half months to get back on track after my xmas trip to uk. I've got to gain control before I put any more of the weight back on. Here's my plan: 1.early to bed tonight, 2.good long walk tomorrow morning and 3. good solid fastday, no little bits of anything, they only lead to bigger bits. I'm really going to do it tomorrow. I'm not sure what the scale will say by Saturday but it is what it is.

Sounds a good plan Dee, we are governed by numbers all the time scales/weight/clothing everything,
but the scales aren't always our best friend and no way did your naughtiness make you gain that amount
think about this logically its probably water weight somewhere along the way@justdee I had a carb heavy week last week and the scales showed the results, you go carb steady for a few days and the scales will be in favour again. :clover:

Thanks sue you're probably right about the water weight, anyway it will soon be gone. Number 1 and 2 of the plan done, just got to get to the end of the fast so I can tick off number 3. :)

I love it when a plan comes together  . I had a great fast yesterday, coming in at 400 and something calories. The hunger monster popped his head up in the evening again but I told him to s0d off. I was hungry going to bed and had to keep telling myself to embrace it. Anyway this morning I weighed in and I'm 0.6lb up on my pre-UK weight (2 weeks ago). I'd say I got away with it.
Thanks for speaking sense when I had my wobble this week @Sue.Q. For some reason when I have a wobble my mind tells me it's all hopeless and I forget all about water weight. May be it's to trick us in to carrying on eating. It must have been water weight because there is no way I can lose 3.5lbs in one day. I feel totally back in control after yesterdays fast and I'm looking forward to a solid 4:3 and loads of walking next week.

Well done Dee that's what I call a result :like:
I used to be the same I'd go into despair with an unfriendly number on the scales.
but I reread carorees water weight thread and the carb advice because my body does react quite badly with carbs, don't forget that the lovely chocolate is carbs and carbs make us hold water.

We're both on track again now @justdee I've only got a little to go to my lowest of this year so let's get stuck in and make the rest of this year count. :like:
Is @pinchypops Still with you and doing OK?

You two are doing so well- great to see. Maybe need to slap some sense into me. I may make @sue.q the wet fish wielder while I'm on my holidays :D

Oh no@janeg don't give @Sue.Q the fish. At the moment she just gives good advice and a firm talking to when I need it, give her a fish and I'll be getting slapped all the time. :)

Yes sue I'm about a lb away from my lowest weight this year and about 2lbs away from my lowest weight on this WOL. Lets go for it, 4:3 next week and walk as much as pos. x
and yes pinchy's still around, I've spoken to her a few times this week. I think she's doing well but like lots of us, it's not coming off as easily as it did the first time around. Keep at it pinchy, it will happen x

Lol   @Janeg No need to hand over the wet fish
You'll be over here and closer to all the naughty people in the UK probably being naughty too, if @Silverdarling Is with you along with the Mosser Rother!!!
Edit to add @Janeg. You'll be easy to recognise in your burka holding on to your chocky.

Hiya just popping in to say that I have to tell my hunger monster to s0d off to in the evenings especially. So do you have to turn onto your side to stop the tummy rumbles in bed like I do? That's when I know I've been a good girl and fasted well.

I'm trying to make friends with him @carieoates, then I won't mind him coming to visit. He is annoying tho so not sure we can ever be friends :)

Hi @Justdee, glad you seem to have your mojo back. It must feel good for you and @Sue.Q to know that you are very nearly back to your lowest on this WOL. I must go and read that water weight thread and the carbs one. Presume this means pizza and beer is out! At least on a daily basis...

So my weight this morning is 171.2lbs exactly the same as last week. I find it so hard to get below 12st (168lbs). I've done 3 fast this week and some walking, not as much walking as I should have done but some is better than none. Ok my first fast on Monday went very well (less than 500 cals). Wednesdays fast was ok, I was fine all day and then managed to cave just before bed and ate 200 extra cals making it around 700 for the day. I put this down to it being that time of month and weak mindedness. Friday I was fine all day, I thought I would get through the day ok. then, again late evening I started picking, ''a little bit of this won't matter, one piece of that doesn't count''. turns out it does. I don't know how many cals I went over by but I think it was more than a couple of hundred :( Oh well, at least I still did my 3 fast, I just didn't make it to the end of the day on 2 of them :(
Next week I'm going to have a really good week and try to get closer to that 12st mark. I think I'm asking a bit much of myself to get below it in a week, (that would be more than a 3lbs loss), but I'll try to get close to it. I hope I'm holding a bit of water weight this week and that will give me a head start on next week. So the plan for next week is 4:3 with more walking than this week and to be ready for the late night munchies monster, when he turns up I'll go to bed.

Well done Dee you've maintained that's actually a good week and for you water weight next weeks weigh-in will prove that to you so enjoy your weekend and let's make next week count, you for seeing the numbers 11 and me for reaching a new 20yrs lowest, so my plan of attack is a cautious weekend ( Indian meal out tonight) going as low on my carbs as is possible without feeling deprived at weekend 4:3 next week lowering my carb intake to 20g especially on fastdays
This should force my body into fatburning, also more walking, ready for the solstice weigh in which I'm not going to reach but like you @justdee would love to get my personal lowest in many years.
