Thanks sue. I never thought I would enjoy 4:3 as much as I am. This week will be a bit of a challenge with the school holidays. We have a few days out planned for this week, a lot of walking involved so that should help. :) So glad things are moving for you again, you must be very pleased. Well done for sticking with it when it got tough. x

Another half lb gain for me after a week of too much everything and sabotaging 2 of my 3 fast. Gaaah!!!!!! enough said :(

why not Join Sammy & me for a low carb week,
although I'm doing 10 days or so before my holiday,
as yo may remember I had great results about 3 weeks ago when I did it with Debs. :clover: :clover: :clover:

@Sue.Q I don't know much about low carb, (how many carbs I should aim for each day etc) but I'll happily join you by cutting the bread, pasta and potatoes down/out to see if I can knock the cravings on the head. I'm going for a 4:3 next week (M/W/F).Thanks :clover:

Yes well all struggle and low carb together, Dee I'm doing 4:3 next week and the very low carb was 20g a day over 3days which is easy to do on a fastday but try to reduce our other days below 100g but 50ish good. :heart:

Of course you can @Rawkaren, let's all have a really strong week. I'm no good at the long challenges so haven't signed up for the latest one. I'm going to take it one week at a time. This weeks challenge: a solid 4:3 with low carb. Let's see what that does :)

This week (from monday) I did a solid 4:3, coming in below 500 each day and just under TDEE the others. I did low carb, easily under 20g on fastdays and under 100g the others. I had a walk each day for about an hour, I also went for a bike ride. I lost 1 and a half pounds, was hoping for more but I'll take it. Back to just 4:3 next week. I'll keep up with the walking as it really does lift my energy level and mood (I've not been today and I feel like having a nap) but I'm not going to do low carb. I think the low carb has helped me to get my cravings under control and I will keep an eye on not over doing them. I'm hoping the exercise has made me hold on to water, I've got my fingers crossed for a nice surprise on the scale next week, I've not done any exercise for months before this week. I really wanted more than 2lbs lost and I thought all the effort I've put in this week would do it, at least it's heading in the right direction again. :)

Well done @justdee That's a great loss don't be despondent with that, just numbers going in the right direction make my 300grams look feeble
but would love that weekly.

Thanks. Don't get me wrong @sue.q I am pleased with it. You know me I normally lose less than half a lb a week. Was just hoping for more than 2lbs that's all with doing the low carb and the walking. :)

Another week of 4:3 with lots of walking (some up big hills) and I've lost 2lbs. Very very pleased with this. It has been quite an easy week, I don't know why some weeks are much easier that others (I wish I did). Maybe it's because last week was 4:3 with low carb so this week feels like a breeze. I seem to be in a very good head space at the moment, maybe it's connected to the walking because it does put me in a great mood. Or maybe it's because I've found a nice rhythm with 4:3. What ever it is long may it last. I haven't done low carb this week, I have reduced my carbs a little but without trying or thinking about it. If I want it I have it (on non-fastdays) I just don't want as much.
The plan this week is to do the same again, 4:3 and plenty of walking. I'm going to the UK in 2 weeks for a week, it would be lovely to lose a few more lbs before then. Happy fasting everyone :)
