I'm still loving 4:3 and it has served me well for another week. This week I have lost 1.4lbs, the best bit is it's that time of the month and I always carry extra water (I was expecting a gain). I've done loads of walking again this week, I'm sure that has something to do with the loss. On some nonfastdays this week I really feel I over ate but my fitness pal said I'm under TDEE, so all is good. This week I'll be doing it all again, 4:3, lots of walking and I'll try to stop eating before I feel over full. Happy fasting everyone.
Well done Dee you are doing so well since your return
I'm convinced 4:3 + Walking was the reason for my phenomenal success last year and will be returning to that combo on Monday following a cautious weekend to blow away my holiday gain, looking good for a Monday walk for me.Lets carry on with the good work together
@justdee Have you still got buddie @pinchypops?

well done honey, I'm so happy for you!!! I don't think I would have any results without doing 4:3. I've been low carbing this week too and that's helped loads. Keep up the brilliant work
Very good! Will be back on 4:3 on Monday! An example to follow!
@justdee - fab news!
@SueQ - I'm still here! Did back to back fasting this week and lost around three pounds. Am going to see how much I lose after my second fast next week and update again then.
I have to say I'm loving 5:2 again, too. Eating really healthily on my non-fast days (today's breakie was avocado on wholemeal toast with grilled tomatoes and mushrooms, plus a poached egg and some baked beans - feeling VERY FULL!). Dee and I have been PMing a fair bit, but I will endeavour to get back into the swing of posting on the main threads.
Best wishes to all, and well done, Dee xx

Sorry for the hijack Dee
Well done @pinchypops That's great news I'm so glad everything is now working so well for you especially your private life, we do feel so good when we eat the
healthy foods
I've just returned from holiday after eating such rubbish and o horrified 4kg gain!! Carb overload and now I feel full of life and new vigour and determination I'm convinced the lower carbs give us that feeling.
Well done to both of you you buddy up well

Thanks everyone for your lovely comments, not often someone says 'An example to follow' about me @bobshouse haha, I'm actually trying to follow the example set by @sue.q and @daydreamer21 . Glad you're back on board with 4:3 bobs, I think it is right for you, you just got a bit overwhelmed.
Hijack away sue, not a problem. I think pinchy has a much busier life than I do but we have been keeping in touch, I spend way too much time on here. Hope you had a great holiday, good to have you back.
Well done on the back to back @pinchypops , what a great loss. Good to be back on track isn't it?
Have a great week everyone and enjoy your weekend (but not too much)

Well done @justdee - walking is definitely a positive for me too - thanks to @Sallyo for setting up the lovely walking tent - it's has helped keep me focused.
Thanks @lizbean I totally agree, without the walking tent I wouldn't have started walking again yet.
How are you getting on @justdee?
I fasted today and went for a long walk with a friend yesterday and today after work - so good to be back in the fresh air in this beautiful weather!

Hi @pinchypops I've had a good day. Didn't sleep well at all last night so very tired today, thought that would trigger cravings but I've been ok. Had a very large chicken salad this evening and a bit of pineapple for after. That came in at about 400cals, not bad at all. Well done on your fast today. You going for a back to back tomorrow then? I don't know how you do it. Knowing I can eat normally tomorrow is the only thing that gets me through. Good luck hun and enjoy the nice weather
I weighed in today and have lost 0.8lb. I didn't walk as much last week or sleep very well and I think it shows on the scale. I really need to stay focused this week, I'm out of my routine now and don't have a fastday planned until the 2nd of june when I'll be firmly back on 4:3 . This week I'll be trying to do 16:8, if any of them turn into a full fast I'll be very happy but I'm not going to stress about it. Today was a travel day for me and I had a normal non-fastday. I didn't over do it or count cals but think it was around my TDEE. Tomorrow I'll go for a 16:8. I'm going to post on here daily to help me stay on track. Just hope I don't gain (loads) this week. 168lbs (12st) is my sticking point, I've not been able to get below that for over 6 years. I got there just before xmas and then fell off the wagon and ended up back at square one. I'm almost there again today so really need to work extra hard at not letting it slip away. It just so happens that it's come at a time that my willpower will be tested. Must stay focused!!! Must stay focused!!!
Good. Luck while you're over here in the UK Dee
just do the best you can because holidays and family get togethers are for your enjoyment @justdee
Can you bring a little Spanish sunshine with you please.

I tried my best with the sun @Sue.Q but it's bl00dy freezing here today.
I didn't eat until 1:15 today and then had Sunday dinner at about 6pm, that's me done for today, it's about a 5 hour eating window. I'm going to try not to have anything else today as still feeling rather full from dinner. I was tempted with the toast this morning but didn't cave in. I went for a 20 minute walk to Asda this morning, I was going to take a taxi back but just set off walking, I got half way home and saw my daughter and nephew going to a shop near Asda so back I went with them and home again later. It killed some time and stopped me eating earlier. The best bit about this morning is I also got a size 12 pair of trousers,@bobshouse, what a good feeling that is. I tried a size 14's and I could pull them down without undoing them. I don't think I'll be a size 12 in every shop but it's good to know I'm getting there.
