Thank you for the welcome,@Juliana.Rivers! My starting weight on Monday, 11th January is 145.7 pounds, having fasted on Sunday and dropped from 149 pounds! I will be doing 'straight' 5:2 but with more careful eating on my non-fast days to ensure that I am not over-indulging too much!

Well, I have actually put on half a pound before even getting as far as my first post-Christmas fast, meaning that I now have nine pounds to lose before I am back to my target of 140 pounds! Having said that, I fasted yesterday (Sunday) instead of today (Monday) and am down to 145.8 pounds, so at le...

I don't think that 'maintaining' is quite what I have been doing in January! Yesterday I weighed in at 149 pounds, nine pounds over my revised target of 140 pounds. I have eaten ridiculous amounts of all sorts of calorie-laden food over Christmas, New Year - and since then - so I have nobody ...

Well done to those of you who are already making inroads into the holiday weight gains! :victory: I'm back after a Christmas/New year fast-free food feast and yesterday's 'official' weigh-in day showed 149 pounds! That's two pounds over my pre-November target and nine pounds over my current ...

Member 11 here. Sorry I've been MIA the last couple of weeks. I'm on the verge of a breakup and things have not been going well with my diet. My weight has been bouncing around due to the lack of sleep and stress. My usual weigh-in date would be tomorrow, but I'm off for the next week. Going on a mu...

Weighed in at 145 lbs this morning before my fast, much to my surprise. I hope its true, and not a failing battery on the scale. I feel pretty chubby. I'm heading off to my conference very soon. I'm going to avoid eating the delicious but huge muffins for breakfast as that is 600-800 calories right ...

We have been having extensive work done on our house, which has required insane amounts of packing, cleaning, and running stairs. OH's new fitbit registered 17,000 steps two days ago! I'm not in his league but I have certainly done more physical work that I have in years. No fasting yesterday, but I...

This seems interesting ... BMI and Women over 60 Certain studies have suggested that in case of women over 60, the BMI may not indicate the ideal weight. A BMI of 26 would still put older women in the healthy range, whereas for younger women it would mean they are overweight. A BMI range of 25 to 2...
