I was at 145.5 lbs after my last fast, 147-something on regular days. This is 7 lbs heavier than I was this time last year, but still pretty close to my long term maintenance goal which was 145. I fasted twice a week this whole time except for one week when we had a family celebration on a Monday. I...

I have just entered my regular Sunday morning weigh-in result onto my Tracker ( 145.5 pounds, 1.5 pounds under target) and have realised that it is exactly two years since I reached maintenance, for the first time! :victory: Unfortunately that happy state of affairs lasted only until the end of Sept...

My weight has been up and down like a yo-yo but we are talking pounds - not stones! I am happy that the highs have only been for days rather than weeks, as they would have been in the 'old days'! Target: 145 - 149 lbs 1st June: 148.2 lbs :frown: 9th June - Heaviest weight:149.6 lbs - Oops, after a v...

I thought that I would be fasting today but weighed this morning at 145.9 pounds, meaning that I am now below my 147 pound target and have shifted 5.2 pounds since Sunday! I have eaten quite carefully and fasted twice in that time but that seems a lot in five days but I'm happy to take it!

Hi all! Good to see so many of you here and to know that I'm not alone in the challenges I started to face after persistent fasting. Thanks to those of you who wondered were I was. I'm secretly a bit glad to have been missed. One never knows! I had a wonderful vacation back towards the beginning of ...

So this morning I weighed myself and the scale said 145.2 lbs. A couple minutes later I took a poop (you knew by the title what this topic was about) and I wondered for the first time in my life "how much does poop weigh?" So i got back on the scale AND to my utter amazement it said 144 lb...

Afternoon Lil ', prevention meds for dog are now resistant like antibiotics but the cedar oil is very effective. What a shocker this week 1.5lbs! Don't think I did anything any differently, but I am looking at that loss like a proud mama! I am not too far from my goal now and yet I will still be ove...

Beautiful sunny morning here, up and had 2 coffees and some water. Soup defrosting for post walk breakfast, then mini protein bar, dark chocolate and orange is flavour of the month. Then I might try this packet of 'Creamy vegetable spelt' (Ainsley Harriott) I bought on a whim. 145 cals per serve, bu...

Loversghost , What many people aren't aware of is that what is ketogenic low carb (which is what most people mean by Low Carb) varies entirely on your body size because big people have a lot more blood than small people and hence they end up with a lower concentration of glucose in their blood eati...

After another couple weeks of fasting regularly, my weight continues to climb. I got up over 143 this past week and I'm having a harder and harder time controlling my eating on post-fast days. So I am trying to decide what to do. I am going to stop the twice a week fasting. It worked brilliantly for...

I'm quite the opposite. I find it much easier to work out everyday (or a couple times a day) to give me some extra calories to play with than to eat only 1100-1200 calories for a TDDE in order to lose weight :) I don't think its in my genetics to ever be slim unless I'm prepared to stop eating alto...

I have a feeling training our food intake is a darn side easier than getting up off the couch or in my case off the computer chair. I'm quite the opposite. I find it much easier to work out everyday (or a couple times a day) to give me some extra calories to play with than to eat only 1100-1200 cal...

I was at 140 this morning after a fast where I came in closer to 600 calories than 435. But my Tanita is showing a higher than usual amount of water. So I'm probably hanging in there. Having a nice cup of soup with about 145 calories in it yesterday made the fast day much more tolerable. But I ate m...

I really do appreciate all the very valuable reports so many people have shared here. And I agree that in diet support groups "positivity" can all too easily turn into shaming people whose results don't live up to the dream. My goal in exploring these questions is to make it possible for m...
