I don't know what is in M&S prepared meals, but every prepared food I've seen, including the ones made in house at our local market (which taste delicious) are full of salt. Read the label and look for the various items that turn out to be MSG. Here are some conservative sites that list the susp...

Thanks for this thread. I will follow this with great interest, because my stress levels are causing my hair to fall out at an alarming rate. I have had every test under the sun and I check out OK. Yet my hair is really thinning on top. It's a vicious cycle; I stress and worry about hair loss and I...

What a blow injuring your knee :( How long will it take to heal well enough to go cycling? Very infuriating when you set your mind to do something when something unexpected stops you. Drawing 101 - good for you. Is this something you have wanted to do for a long time? And glad to hear that the fasts...

Continuing Blog... Yesterday was another fast day and it went fairly well...considering. Took a nasty fall resulting in a 'goose egg' between kneecap and shin. And because I was on my way to the first class of Drawing 101, didn't ice properly. The bright side was that the leg could have been b...

I've been looking for recipes to use on my fast day, but finding that since 5:2 is pretty much a UK/Commonwealth phenomenon, the recipes suggested invariably require ingredients that aren't easily found in the U.S., convenience items sold by grocery chains we don't have here, or involve foods that a...

I've been feeling really down all today. I had a real good look at my tracker today because after having what I thought was a very good week this last week doing 4:3 with a fairly natural 16:8 with only one treat, a doughnut, I had gained a few ounces. I have been talking to myself all day trying to...

It's not something I'd recommend due to being too low in fat and too high in carbs in my opinion. One week won't harm though! All that fruit would be much better replaced by vegetables and with the calories saved have some fat! You might like to read about metabolism: https://www.fastday.com/fasting...
